For many, beach holidays in Norfolk are simply the best and with so many golden stretches of sand and shingle on our doorstep, it’s easy to see why. Just a short stroll away lies Scratby beach which lies at the base of small sandy cliffs. Head slightly north and you’ll find the soft sands of Winterton Beach which is backed onto by the Dunes National Nature Reserve. With plenty of parking and an abundance of sand whatever the tide, Winterton Beach offers lots of space even during the busier summer months making it perfect for a family beach day out.

If you head south you’ll arrive at Caister Beach, a long stretch of unspoilt sand and pebble beach, backed by sand dunes and sea defences. Continue on to Great Yarmouth where the Central Beach, lying between Britannia and Wellington Piers makes for the ideal family day at the seaside. Picnic on the golden sands, cool off in the water, lay back and relax or enjoy over a mile of fun at the seaside piers.
